L'acceuil est catastrophique. Il faut se rendre dans le café avoisinant pour le check in, les serveurs vous font les formalités mais ont clairement pas envi. Donc entre 2 cafés servis on voit rempli les formalités... Personnel peu agréable. La chambre est de bonne qualitée ete petit déjeuner aussi.

Honte et déception/ covid19
Voyage annulé suite au coronavirus, l'établissement a décidé de me prélever la totalité du montant de la réservation à la fin de celle-ci et n'a proposé aucun avoir, rien de commercial. Tout est bon pour se faire de l'argent et remonter les pertes dues au coronavirus sur le dos des clients en les pénalisant. On parle tout de même de 330euros "volés" alors même que leurs frontières étaient fermées aux touristes... quelle honte

Super étape dans notre village préféré des Cinque
Petit déjeuner super en terrasse avec une vue magnifique sur la mer. Très copieux avec des produits de qualité. Hôtes charmants et disponibles. Chambre propre, spacieuse, et au calme. Minibar, Tv, petite salle de bain pratique. Jolie vue également. Situation idéale dans le village proche commerce, restaurant, sentier de randonnée.

Well located great view
Perfect location in the centre of the historical village. The staff was very helpful and helped us to book a nice table’ when we arrive to a restaurant nearby. Amazing view from the room, Corniglia is also one of the quiest village of 5 terre so we’ enjoyed the peacefulness of the place. The terrasse for thé breakfast is amazing. The hotel itself is a bit old and a but overpriced for thé equipments but clean. I will recommend it.

If you happen to take the Single Yellow room, then you really need to have luck of having good neighbours in the adjacent room. I had a loud and ill mannered elderly couple as neighbours, probably from America. The rooms aren't sound proof and you hear a lot from the whole house, but this tiny place on the cliffs of Corniglia has its own charm. Everything is functional and well kept. The view from the balcony or also the breakfast terrace ist beautiful. All in all a good place.

We stayed at Il Magàn for four nights and used it as a base to hike to the other towns. The view from the room is amazing, it is cool and cosy, but with enough room for the three of us. The bathroom is tiny, especially the shower, so if you like a spacious bathroom, maybe this is not for you. The bar La Scuna, attached to the property is just downstairs and has the most incredible view to watch the sun set over the coast. Food and drinks were great too. We loved our time here, and really loved the little town of Corniglia. Would definitely stay here again, hopefully we will before too long!

Small Village Paradise
Great place to stay. We really liked this village - seemed more laid back than some of the others which was perfect for us. The room is clean and private. We loved having a snack and wine outside on the patio with a sea view. The breakfast in the morning is outstanding. Hike the trail and go wine tasting nearby.

Unique setting. Cobblestone street that was only available to foot traffic. Convenient location to cafe and restaurant choices. Shuttle bus to the train station was close. Room was spacious. The shower was tiny and a challenge for a larger person. Accessibility for people with mobility challenges would be a major barrier. The views were tremendous. Breakfast each morning on the deck had a view of the hills next to the sea.

It would be nice to know how very desolate this town is in off season. Better to stay in la spezia and just take train in for the day. Definitely not worth staying in off season. Also it is not in Vernazza. Address says Vernazza but it is corneligia. You have to take a bus up the hill to get to this place. If you miss the bus, u have to walk like 40 flights of stairs striaght up a hill. Not for elderly, super small shower no big man can fit in the door, stairs all the way walk, weak lady can't carry luggage, no one at entry to help, no English speaking in town, no magnify mirror bathroom, no working outlet, no American adapter, little breakfast, Broken toilet seat, no coffee maker, sometimes broken toilet, town is shut down off season. Don't stay anywhere other than LA spezia in off season

Served it’s purpose; relatively low cost; friendly host. The “Verde” room was a large multi-purpose room, great for two people. The bathroom - shower / toilet was incredibly tight - could not bend over in shower, it was only 2’square, and your knees hit the shower stall when on the toilet. Breakfast was delicious, but not served until bistro across the way opened up at 8:15 am. As early birds, waiting for our morning coffee was rough! A kettle and coffee / tea in the room would have been a nice addition to the refrigerator.

This B&B was amazing—a quiet little street with the associated restaurant and bar directly across from us! Our room was such a delight—comfortable bed, large bathroom, beautiful balcony with room for 2 to enjoy a drink with an incredible view of the harbor.

Gorgeous view
Corniglia is beautiful. Easy to use as a base to explore rest of Cinque Terre. Check-in was very convenient at the bar across the street. The view from the apartment is gorgeous. Restaurants all over the place and not too crowded with tourists.

Perfect location, easy to get to with breakfast included. Only complaint: The shower was extremely small and the hot water was not consistent. However I would stay here again!

Il Magan offered a quaint and lovely apartment with a recently refurbished bathroom. The staff was so nice and welcoming and allowed us to store our luggage after we checked out so we could hike the Cinque Terre. We can't wait to return.

Cozy rooms in the heart of the Cinque Terre
Il Magàn is a little house with four rooms in the center of Corniglia, one of the Cinque Terre. It is connected to a bar and restaurant, and you will get your breakfast on a terrace overlooking the Ligurian Sea. Our room also had a balcony facing the ocean, the room was cosy and the service excellent.

Great Quite Hotel
Very nice hotel. Quite room overlooking part of the village and the beautiful sea. The bed was very comfortable, the best so far in Italy that we have slept on. The room was clean, recently remodeled and quite. There was a little refrigerator too. The breakfast was good as well. It was served at the adjoining restaurant outside under umbrellas overlooking the water. Checkin was smooth and everyone was helpful. Most if not all the people we encountered spoke English. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and would there again. We parked our car at the La Spezzia train station and road the train into Corniglia. Would recommend doing that as parking is very limited. Trains and buses are easy to navigate.

Charming, centrally located hotel in Cinque Terra!
We spent 4 nights at Il Magan in Corniglia (Vernazza) in order to hike between the Cinque Terra towns. Located on the narrow, pedestrian-only Main Street, it was easy to find. However, you do have to be ready to wheel or carry your luggage. Check-in was easy at the La Scuna Bar which doubles as Reception. The staff was really nice and helpful. We enjoyed a sunset cocktail and our daily included breakfasts. We booked a water view room that was spotless and comfortable. The bathroom was small, but clean and contemporary. After hiking to other villages, we were further convinced that Corniglia was the best, central location and we were delighted with our stay at Il Magan!

Excellent area. Hostess was very helpful and accommodating. Lovely view from our room. Breakfast lovely and at outside bar with overlook views of the Ligurian Sea. Not fault of the hotel, but actually in Corniglia NOT Vernazza. They have tried many times to have Orbitz update. Technically postal address is Vernazza... I did sort that out before arriving, but messed up my trains reservations slightly. PS: Totally recommend the shuttle bus up the hill. We visited all 5 cities, and loved the quiet beauty and small size of Corniglia for staying.

HIGHLY UNSATISIFIED
We were looking forward to visit this place, and believe me, it is totally worth the hype! However, the hotel staff were a bit arrogant and grumpy. Apart from this, the cleanliness of the place was close to nothing - everything looked like it took 1 minute to clean. Apart from the unsatisfactory service, breakfast was good but what we thought was a continental breakfast, was in fact an a la carte breakfast, where if you order more than one cappuccino, you would be ordering "too much".

Hello Anonymous, thank you for your review, we are glad that you enjoyed the Cinque Terre. We regret that you did not find the cleanliness of your room satisfactory. We care a lot about cleaning and as you can see we have a high score reviews on this aspect, surely the housekeeper does not take 1 minute to clean the room! As for breakfast, we do everything at the moment (to offer freshly prepared food and drinks) and our guests can choose what they want from the menu and if they order a second or third cappuccino there are certainly no problems! In fact our guests are very happy with the breakfast. Hospitality has been our job for 3 generations, it is a pity that our services have not met your taste.

Il Magan is a perfect place to stay in the middle of Cinque terre. It is comfortable and homey. After spending days hiking, it was nice to relax on the balcony and listen to the surf. We slept with the doors open to enjoy the fresh air and sounds.

For what I paid and the view from My balcony - great breakfast good room it was great - the owner was a very sweet lady - she even saves me over five euros a day by going on line to allow me to purchase my hiking pass for two euros Great stay comfortable room great breakfast very nice owner in a magical place.

Enjoy Cinque Terra great life experience
Great view. If you come to Corniglia And want to do the hiking. Take the train to Riomaggiore and the boat to Vernazza (1.5 hiking) or to Monterosso (2.5 hiking) Doing this you will walk, you will go in the train and you will see the 5 towns from the sea. My Best Wishes.

I thought the property was located in Vernazza and had planned the trip around that. Imagine our surprise when the place was in Corniglia. After the climb, the property afforded amazing views and the staff were friendly. Would recommend with caveat that it is in Corniglia.
