Nestled in the peaceful Tarn countryside, La Vernière Cordais is a beautifully renovated stone barn offering a relaxing rural escape with breathtaking views towards the medieval hilltop village of Cordes-sur-Ciel.

Combining original character features such as exposed stone walls, wooden beams and wooden floors with modern comforts, the property provides a welcoming and comfortable stay throughout the year. Both bedrooms are air-conditioned, ensuring a restful retreat during the warmer months.

The accommodation comfortably sleeps four guests and includes two thoughtfully furnished bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed dressed with hotel-quality bedding and an oversized super king duvet. A large picture window frames stunning countryside views and offers a direct outlook towards Cordes-sur-Ciel. The second bedroom is a bright and airy twin room with two single beds, generous duvets, hotel-standard bedding, exposed beams, and large doors opening onto the courtyard.

The bathroom includes a full-size bath with overhead shower, a Velux window providing natural light, heated towel rail, illuminated mirror and wooden flooring. A separate WC with washbasin adds extra convenience.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed for a self-catering stay, including a fridge-freezer, oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine, as well as a kettle, toaster, crockery, glassware and cookware. Additional amenities include free Wi-Fi, a Smart TV with streaming apps, and an iron and ironing board.

Outside, guests can relax in their own private courtyard and enjoy access to the swimming pool.

Please note that the pool is shared with the owners and is not a private pool. We live in a separate house across the courtyard and occasionally use the pool ourselves. However, our guests always have priority, and we do not use the pool when guests are swimming or relaxing by the poolside. We aim to provide as much privacy as possible, allowing you to enjoy the space in peace throughout your stay.

The pool area is equipped with a safety alarm system, and plastic glassware is provided for use outdoors.

The surrounding area is ideal for walking, cycling and exploring the beautiful landscapes of the region. From the doorstep, guests can access local paths including the Sentier de Maraval and the unique Dunes de Maraval. The enchanting village of Cordes-sur-Ciel is just a few minutes away, while Albi, Gaillac and the Gorges de l’Aveyron are all within easy reach for memorable day trips.
