Hotel Violet Town

« Good basic hotel, clean, comfortable beds, and warm showers. Free wifi. Parking at the door of the units. Note the ridiculous signs about EV's causing fires and fines if caught plugging one in. Totally understand not wanting people to charge EVs from their room for cost, overloading fuses, etc., but given how rare an EV charging fire actually is, it would make more sense to provide a charger (user pays). In all, an easy place to spend a night when passing through Euroa. »

« Liked the fact that it was a historical building, in largely original condition. Dislikes. (I had to keep reminding myself that $AUS79.00 is a bargain price for overnight accommodation.) Hand basin in the room. Bathroom, incl. toilet, down the corridor. No mirror of any size, or TV, in the room, & no air con. Bumped into cleaner when I was departing. Wasn't going to comment but she earnestly asked for comments as new owners were renovating. She said she advises guests wanting a shower to...

« Nice motel for a one night stop. »

« Very disappointing experience — I would not stay here again We booked Paradise Lakes Motel through Expedia, but when we arrived late at night after driving from Melbourne, there was nobody at reception. We called the motel’s landline and the mobile number displayed at the property, but neither was answered. We couldn’t find another place to stay at that hour, so we had to wait until 6 am to check in. We then left at 11 am to continue driving to Canberra. The owner did not apologise or offer an...

« Honestly this was one of the cleanest motels I’ve ever stayed in, perfect for a short night stay. Staff was really helpful and the room was clean with comfy beds. »

« nice place to stay food was amazing staff supper friendly. »

« I’ve stayed here numerous times. Comfy bed, good shower and room overlooks the pool. No hairdryer in the room but just ask for one at reception. Toaster in the room but no cutlery or plates/bowls. Reception staff very friendly. »

« Cabins were okay! Bed were very uncomfortable could feel the springs in the mattress. Plates/cutlery were dirty No tongs to cook »

« Easy to find nice and clean and lovely pool »

« Very good central location close to clubs & shops. Large room with comfortable bed and plenty of storage. Bathroom in need of a deeper clean, some minor tile repairs and a soap dish in the shower but good hot water and water pressure and generally acceptable overall. Bathroom sink needs a note warning that the hot water gets very hot very quickly in case of a child using it and possibly getting burnt. Overall we had a nice comfortable stay. »

« Room itself was quite good. Bathroom definitely needed work. Overall good for a night for the price »

« Will stay again »

« Maintenance in the room requires a closer look to keep up. Both of the electric blankets weren’t operating. So was one of the bedside light was out too. Otherwise the location is reasonably central to the hospital and all. Staff was friendly. »
