„This charming home is just a couple of miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. We were able to drive up to the park in the early morning hours to see the brief 26th fountaining of Kīlauea. The house is beautifully decorated and has all amenities necessary for a very comfortable stay. My grandsons declared the beds “very comfy” and wanted to be sure that’s included in the review. We definitely recommend Pu’uwai Place“

„This house was perfect for easy access to The National Park. Golf course was even closer, but didn’t have time to hit it. Beautiful area and great updated house was perfect for our 4 and could hold 6 easily. Great clear communications. Would happily stay there again!“

„Cute, well-appointed, just enough distance from HVNP to avoid the crowds at Volcano House in the evening. Great communicators, comfortable beds, beautiful outdoor space, and their friendly cat next door was a bonus for our kids who missed their pet.“

„We stayed in the Bamboo Treehouse for a few days while we visited Volcanoes National Park. The location is close and very convenient for visiting the park, yet the house is very secluded and private. Not a tourist in sight! The treehouse was super clean and comfortable. A really fun place to stay. Highly recommend it!“

„Stayed one night and it was perfect for getting to and from Volcanoes. Best times to get there are early and late. Layout is quirky but functional. Bring your own coffee and filters as neither are provided. I had coffee but needed to ask a restaurant we stopped at for a filter. Wish it had a grill because the town of Volcano is a ghost town at night. No AC but it gets cool at night. A dehumidifier would be helpful rather than opening the windows but at least the coki frogs aren't as bad as ...

„Got in on a Friday evening and was greeted by the chirp of the smoke alarm in the master bedroom--the battery was dying. Even though the next day was a Saturday, the host had his handyman (who was a very nice fellow) arrive with ladder and a fresh battery. The house is in a very quiet neighborhood (the sheep next door sleep through the night and are charming during the day.)“
