Arrived with spouse & my two young children for check-in around 9:30 pm. No one at desk, no bell or anything. After 10 min. called the hotel, heard the phone ring until it stopped, then about 5 min later staff came to help. They were nice. Our room's air felt humid & stank; carpet was stained, & walls were scuffed & had painted over scuffs. After getting settled, checked the AC, & it was filled with mold. Clerk gave us a new room that didn't smell as bad, but the AC still had a little mold. It was about 10:30, decided to settle in. Around 11:00, stepped in wet carpet- the AC was leaking. At this point we just wanted to sleep, so I put a cup under the leak. Couldn't sleep well, & after 3 hrs, the cup was overflowing. Next morning requested a new room, the room also reeked of mold. Each room was on the same floor. Instead of trying to change rooms we checked out (I'm not too fussed over shabbiness, but mold is a health issue for us). Staff was very courteous & apologetic, didn't offer a refund, but they didn't hesitate when I asked for a partial refund. They were very helpful & understanding. It was a relief to directly book a room somewhere else.
