Kanai A Nalu is a peaceful oceanfront resort located in Maalaea and is known for its incredible waterfront setting, seasonal whale watching, and convenient central Maui location. Guests can enjoy the oceanfront pool, barbecue area, tropical grounds, and easy access to nearby beaches, shops, restaurants, and harbor activities. Complimentary on-site parking is included, and there are no additional resort fees.

Notice of Resort Improvements posted 8/28/26: Building E Concrete Restoration Project. Work is scheduled to begin on 9/14/26 and is estimated to take 3 to 4 months to complete. Please note the following stacks are in Bldg E: 17, 18, 19 and 20 (stack number = the last 2 digits of the unit number). Update 10/23/26: The Building D Concrete Restoration Project is scheduled to begin on or about 12/10/26 to 1/5/27 and is anticipated to take approximately 3 to 4 months to complete. Please note the following stacks are in Bldg D: 13, 14, 15 and 16 (stack number = the last 2 digits of the unit number). Included work: concrete spalling repairs, building painting, window resealing and waterproofing and related exterior restoration work. What to expect: periodic use of jackhammers and other construction equipment, construction noise and dust, lift equipment will be used and workers performing repairs in close proximity to windows and lanai.

Standard Cancellation Policy:
If cancellation notice is received 30 or more days prior to the check-in date, a 100% refund will be refunded within 10-14 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
If cancellation notice is received at least 14 days prior to the check-in date, 50% of the booking will be refunded within 10-14 business days from receipt of written cancellation.
For a cancellation notice received after 14 days prior to the check-in date, a refund will not be issued other than the departure cleaning fee.
