« Off the beaten track was the perfect place to stay while we explored Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. It's quiet and private, and not too far of a drive from restaurants and coffee shops. Wendy and David were excellent hosts. They helped us find the turnoff when we arrived after dark and were easy to contact via text or phone. Overall, this was a relaxing quiet retreat - exactly what we'd hoped for! »

« We had a great time at Na'alehu. We arrived after dark and the road to the apartment was a little bit scary, as some parts are not paved. But just keep going to the top of the hill and you'll find the place. Vickie and Wesley were very friendly and exeptionally helpful during our stay - thank you! The place is close to south point, green sands beach and Punalu'u black sand beach (where green sea turtles sometimes come to rest). We also recommend the Punalu'u bakeshop with delicious treats. »

« The house was beautiful and location was ideal for visiting Volcanoes National Park and black sand beach. Only knock we have was the shower water temperature never got very warm. While it wasn’t cold, it wasn’t ideal either. Otherwise 5 stars! »

« The unit was exactly as pictured. The grounds and the lanai view were gorgeous and old time Hawaiian, with lava walls everywhere. Very laid back and quiet rural area, easy walk to the beach. The first day there we saw a turtle and a small eel hanging out in the tidepools. Comfortable bed and nice unit, beautiful large shower with stone floor. Well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the pool. No issues getting into the unit. Great place to get away from it all. »

« We had a comfortable stay. Could have used a bigger clearer sign at entrance - but house was right there and as it was in the picture. Plenty of room to park multiple cars and plenty of space inside. We were a little concerned about no AC but temp went down to 65 at night and was quite comfortable. Cannot drink from the tap - this was a surprise (was it noted on listing?) but host provided bottled water so it was not an issue - just a surprise. We were disappointed that we did not meet the dogs!...

« Our stay at this property was amazing. We loved the condo. The ocean views were amazing, and the home felt very comfortable, clean, and relaxing. We loved that it is remote, and out of the tourist core. The complex is relatively quiet and very peaceful. We are already hoping to stay again. »

« Bien que propre, le studio est trop petit si vous êtes plus que deux personnes. Une fois le divan-lit ouvert, il devient difficile de circuler. De plus, demandez une chambre sans personne au-dessus parce qu’on entend les gens marcher sur notre tête. Les lieux sont trop isolés à notre goût. Nous ne recommandons pas particulièrement cet endroit. »
