« We traveled to Raleigh for my son's NCSU orientation. The communication with Midge the owner was easy and we were able to reach her both through the VRBO platform and via text. The neighborhood was cute - all the homes were similar in size and when we walked around the block in the evening several neighbors said hello and the one directly next door offered my dad a chair for sitting outside. « The listing for this property is not accurate. There is not a grill nor a fire pit. It also lists dining for 6 but there are only 4 chairs. In addition, it lists a desk chair, but there wasn’t one. There were no towel bars in the bathrooms to hang the bath towels. No hand towels were provided. The property needs a deep clean. There is also an ant problem as well as an issue with fruit flies. The proximity to 440 was convenient. »

« We really loved the house, view, large backyard, and the way the space was set up. Unfortunately, it was touted as a fully stocked kitchen with no need to bring anything. We quickly found out the first night while trying to cook dinner, that there were no baking pans, only 2 options out of a set of measuring cups, only 1 side of the toaster worked, and there was only 1 serving/mixing bowl. « The place was clean with lots of kitchen essentials. The only issue we had was the musty smell of the house. It’s an older home so I understand that could contribute to it. I’m sensitive to smells and have allergies. So that was our only issue. »
