Garden room has a bath only and as it’s in the eves, you can only crouch to have a shower, don’t stand up quick and hit your head like I did! « We have a lovely room which was outside the hotel which was great as we had our dog with us. Our meal restaurant was lovely as was the breakfast , can’t fault a thing! Very friendly staff & will definitely be back. »

« The converted windmill is very nice looking and well fitted out. Car parking is easy in the private car park. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast well cooked and substantial. The staff are excellent - very helpful and attentive, with good local advice. »

« I am utterly disgusted that this place is even still open, arrived at 7:50pm and told we had to find food elsewhere as kitchen shuts at 8pm, then was told they were not aware we had a room booked and she would have to call owner to confirm! Said she would call us back while we found something to eat as his phone went to voicemail!!!!! We then get a call to say yes they have made a room up! I then asked if they were aware we had a full English breakfast the next morning… again no they didn’t!!...

« Great bar area with good beers and nice staff. Lovely room (though bed a bit softer than I’d really like), plenty of space & spotless. Bathroom - large so would benefit from a small table or shelf for putting your washbag on. Small bottle of welcome homemade rhubarb vodka supplied in the room which was much appreciated! Easy free parking. Dinner was excellent and our server, Annie, was fabulous. We both had the beef burger which was a fabulous lump of meat. Highly recommended. »

« So pleased we picked Ffolkes for our stay, we had a brilliant time. The facilities are all spotlessly clean, the staff were really friendly and helpful and it was just a very pleasant stay. The spa has a number of different hot and cold experiences which were all excellent. We stayed in the spa loft room with cinema baths and dart board area. Would definitely stay in the same room again. Thanks for a lovely stay! »
