„On the plus, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and well maintained and nicely furnished. The double bedroom with sofa bed I booked turned out to be a 2 double bedroom suite with a lounge with double sofa bed which was a wonderful surprise for myself and my 2 children and superb value. All the rooms had tvs and the bedrooms both had good tea / coffee facilities. The breakfast was also excellent - self service buffet with croissants, juice, cereals and good choice ...

„The staff were amazing at this hotel—it is a basic hotel with a nice continental breakfast and a few hot items in the morning. it’s reasonably priced. we arrived in Darlington and unexpectedly, our other hotel did not work out. We had no hotel and were panicked! We were so glad that this hotel still had vacancy and was even able to accommodate the bed type that we wanted. „Very nicely situated in a quiet village area 3miles from the town centre. Large car park at the rear and easy access to a bus service outside. Clean pub and rooms of a reasonable quality. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Well priced.“

„We stayed for one night as a stopover on the way North and were very happy that we picked this Inn. The room was quite basic but perfectly adequate for our needs and in line with the price point. We had an evening meal in the bar area which was very good with generous portions and we were served by a lovely young lady who was very friendly and helpful. Lovely bathroom but lighting in both room and bathroom could be brighter. Water hot but found controls on shower difficult to adjust. Tea making facilities all good but I brought my own herbal tea - only standard tea available. Small bottle of still and sparkling water provided.“
