We stayed for just under a week in late June/early July. We weren’t sure what to expect with staying in an apartment on-property with the host, but it was good. Kids were playing in the yard occasionally, but not loud and gave us our privacy.
Very clean apartment. Nice amenities. Washer/dryer was very helpful. We were out and about most of the day, but it was a great place to retire after long outings. Blackout shades were a big help as we weren’t used to sunlight so late into the evening.
We would definitely stay again if we head back to that part of the state. The only 2 things to note are that the towels were kind of sour after just a single use (there were others in the bathroom that might have been better) but we were able to wash them in the stacked unit the next morning. The other is that the place provided for guest parking, while very close to the door, did hold several inches of water during rain. Made it challenging to get in the car if you didn’t have waterproof boots - which luckily we had. Owner said we could try parking at a slant to help, but by that time the rain had stopped. The rain, of course, isn’t the property owner’s fault!
They provided fresh eggs from their property, which was very sweet, however, we didn’t eat them as we didn’t eat breakfast in the apartment.
Again, still 5 stars and would never hesitate to stay there again. Highly recommend.
