« In a tourist region where even two-star inns were ridiculously overpriced, we found a rare gem. Our host welcomed us at dusk into this magnificent ancestral home. And time stood still to the sound of that intriguing player piano in the museum-like living room. Everything was perfect, from arrival to the room to the exquisite breakfast. « It took us a while to find the hotel because the adress didn't bring us to the right place. Our room had a smell to it that was unpleasant and we could hear everything outside the hotel from our window. The bed was comfortable. »

« The Stockade Inn is beautiful! The location is great. I walked everywhere. Parking lot behind the Inn was nice. My room was large and lots of space, although no luggage rack, so I place my suitcase open-faced on the bed, so I didn't have to get on my hands and knees. There was plenty of closet space and lots of room for me to hang up my clothes. Large bathroom, although limited counter space for toothbrush, etc. No water came out when I tried to turn on the hot water faucet in my room that...

« This place for the price was not very good. Cold shower in the morning when you pay over 120$ for a room is not fun. Also, I feel people were smoking in the lobby or in the hotel, it was un unpleasent smell. Overall the staff was friendly and Helpfull. »
