Beautiful and so relaxing
We all loved the property. It was my wife and I and my in laws. Plenty of room in the house for multiple people. The house was clean and so welcoming. We fell in love with Hershey the pet donkey. The stocked pond with catch and release we all enjoyed some friendly competition. Will stay again with our next trip to North Carolina.

Spring Break Getaway
We enjoyed a wonderful stay for a few days over Spring Break. The house was lovely and clean! The view was beautiful and location was close for day adventures around the area. Hershey, the donkey, was so sweet and we loved feeding him afternoon treats. Can't wait to come back!

Short Vacation in Blue Ridge Mountains
This was a great family trip! We didn’t want to leave. We made the most of our time in the area (hiking, Biltmore, ziplining, eating), and this home was amazing. We were taken aback by the beauty of the property, the hiking trail, Hershey, the views, the hot tub - everything! Well stocked, with excellent accommodations! Thank you!!!

Our Favorite Getaway
This was our second time staying at this property. We consider it our “home away from home” in the Asheville area. We have no complaints. The home is comfortable and well stocked. We always have a wonderful time. Our kids always look forward to seeing Hershey and having space to roam. We’ll be back soon!

Very well stocked home, even down to the “neigh nibblers” ti feed the resident donkey! He was sweet and made us smile! This was our first time in Weaverville and we really enjoyed it and were surprised at the convenience of the location!!!

Peacefully n Refreshing
The property is exactly the way it was described period We went during peak season of the fall voyage and it was magnificent. The property was well maintained, the grounds were well maintained. All of the trees that had color were on the property and it was close up and real and magnificent. We were definitely stay there again. The hot tub was a welcome sight after a nice long hike on the trail that is on the property. The only thing anyone would need is just a food they wanna eat.

1-level farm charm
Vacationing in a 1-level home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths in the Asheville region is not an easy find! Most vacation homes in the area are multi-story due to the lay of the land, so this checked all our stay boxes, including a lovely mountain view from the front porch rocking chairs. The beds were comfortable and the home was very tidy indoors. It was a very homey place to retreat.

Beautiful property! Amazing views and plenty of nature surrounding the house! Small bluegill fish in the pond. The donkey was super friendly and fun to watch. Only complaint was the gas grill didnt have any propane.

Anniversary getaway
My wife and I celebrated out 25th wedding anniversary with a trip to a Asheville, and chose this property as our home base. It was perfect. Great amenities in the house. Also, a location just far enough out of town for privacy, but close enough to easily get anywhere we needed. I cannot recommend this property highly enough!

We loved the house and location. Especially loved the donkey and nearby hiking trails. The only issues were that the hot tub water smelled really sour and needed to be cleaned. Also, there were dirty diapers in the bedroom trash can upon arrival. Other than that, great spot!

Wonderful Christmas experience
My family and I came up here for our Christmas vacation and it was lovely! My wife loved the fireplace, it was peaceful and relaxing. Over the few days we stayed there we went on some gorgeous hikes including the trail behind the house. My daughter loved feeding the donkey carrots and it let her pet him. He was sweet. Overall it was a pleasing experience and we definitely consider coming back to stay!

What more can you ask for?
Most enjoyable stay my family has had. Great for little kids who love playing outside, hiking, fishing, and feeding a donkey. This house has all of that and it is all great. Location is at the end of the road and so peaceful. Great views for many cups of coffee. House was well setup for the family. 15 minutes to anything you need while being far enough away to be at peace. Easy directions, people respond to you, and Nick, a caretaker, was so nice to the family. Again, what more can you want? We were extremely satisfied. Thank you.

I booked this stay for a girls trip with my friends and it was the perfect place for us! We spent so much time on the porch staring at the gorgeous mountain views! Everything was clean and as described. The hot tub was a nice touch after days of hiking and an easy drive into town for other things that we needed. Loved our stay here. Was a nice one-level home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. Loved the home, plenty of wildlife around the home including wild turkey, deer, saw a black bear, and of course the lovable donkey. Sit on the front porch and watch the weather roll in. So nice and relaxing.

My family loved staying here. Hershey, the donkey is precious and we got to see wild turkeys almost everyday. The house is clean and comfortable. It is charming and large enough for everyone to have plenty of space. The beds are amazingly comfortable.

100 acres home
Property was fantastic! Great location close to Asheville, Weaverville and Mars Hill. Home was clean, views were fantastic. Enjoyed the quiet surrounded by nature. Hot tub was a treat after a day of hiking. Hershey was fun to interact with. The only downside was the on property trail was too overgrown to traverse, however plenty of other hiking in the area.

Off the beaten path
Loved our stay at 100 acre woods. My husband and 5 year old stayed along with another couple and their 4 and 5 year old. It was a great spot! Like I said it was off the beaten path but close enough to enjoy everything Asheville had to offer. As that was our purpose for trip. House was super cute and comfortable. Having a fire at night was nice as it was cooler when the sunset. Hershey was a pleasure. I have 2 critiques… one is the room we stayed in the doors didn’t stay shut very well and the tub in the master was nice but I would maybe look into a shower instead. We did have issue with water pressure but that was fixed in a very timely fashion. Quick fix. Filter needed to be changed. Beds were comfy. Chairs in sunroom were comfy and so were couches in sitting room. We caught the sunrise the last night we were there and it was super pretty. Hiking trail was cool too! Kids loved to explore.

We had a great time at our stay in this antique style farm house. We had 4 adults and our kids up for an extended weekend. The house is at the end of the road and there are several neighbors that walk the path right up to the house which took some getting used to but everyone was friendly. The view was impressive. We loved walking the property, fishing, feeding the pet donkey, the hot tub, and family board games. We cooked for most meal and the kitchen was well equipped. There were plenty of toiletries and linens. The beds were comfortable. We got snow while there and enjoyed sledding the hills on the property. Jay was easy to contact and responded promptly. The only recommendation would be to have firewood stocked for the guest.

Great stay!
Our family of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids) enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent more time out hiking and in Asheville, but the home was exactly as described and was just a short drive from the city. The kids loved fishing in the pond and petting Hershey the donkey! We didn't use the hot tub, but did try out the hiking trail. We didn't find any directions on where the walking trails were, so had to poke around to find them. Only discovered them on our last evening there, so didn't get to fully explore them, but it's a lovely walk. Just wish we would have found them sooner! The kids talk about wanting to stay here again, so if we make it back out that way, it'll definitely be on our list.

Loved it! We’ll be back!
Everyone in our group loved this property! From the house to the pond and gorgeous sunset views…it was perfect for a group of adults and young children. Exactly the R&R we needed. Close to town, yet “away.” Make sure you talk to Jay when he comes up to feed Hershey; he can give you the lay of the land. The kids absolutely loved our hiking adventure on the property!

100 Acre Woods
My husband and I absolutely loved the 100 Acre Woods. It was everything we were looking for: isolation, a peaceful setting, hiking trails, close to Asheville and comfy and homey inside and out. There were tons of wild turkeys, and the lovable donkey, Hershey. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing. Check in and out was simple and hassle free. I would highly recommend this property. The house was pretty clean except the ceiling fans which we had to clean. It appeared that they had been on for quite a while without being checked especially in the master bedroom. Also the posters on the master bed had a lot of dust on them. The chairs in the sun room had holes and rips in the caning. The only other thing that was a little disconcerting was that the owners, not the management company but the owners, came around a few times. Since the house is at the end of a street we always wanted to know who was coming up. It kind of diminished the isolated feeling we were looking for. Other than those issues we were very pleased with our stay. We would definitely come back.

Tranquil retreat in beautiful setting
Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay at this well appointed home at the end of a very quiet street. Great views and property. Home has everything you need. Only complaints: No info inside the home or online regarding the property or how to use the home's amenities (fortunately, easy to figure out on our own). Also, cable was great on the 2 TV's but Wifi was very unreliable (our cell phone signal was what we used to access the internet tethered to our laptop). No response from Evolve when we emailed them questions on our arrival day. Important info for future renters staying wanting to use all the bedrooms: You cannot get to the sun room (has one of the TV's, dining table and 5 chairs) from the kitchen/living room/master bedroom side of the house without going through one of the bedrooms or going outside through one door and coming into another door from the patio. One of those doors has no key and locks on the inside making that impractical.

Wonderful Retreat
I had a great time and everything was as described or better...the views were an unexpected surprise! There was someone daily coming to feed the donkey, which didn't make my retreat feel as private, but was still fine...maybe if there was a set time that guests knew someone would be there it would be more welcome. Also, the hiking trails that were mentioned were hard for me to locate and there wasn't any information at the house about anything except the wifi code. The manager was late in getting back to me about a couple of things, which has would have made my time there a little more enjoyable, but it was such a treat to stay there and I hope to bring my family back!

This is a must stay experience. Seven mountain ranges of beautiful views and sunsets that are more than spectacular...spiritual ! Such a farmy honestead...transports you to another place in time. We can not express how amazing the property is. We had so much fun exploring the woods, trails, and creeks. Hershey the Donkey stole our hearts and quickly trained the kids to bring him apples and pears from the orchard. We watched wild turkeys strut across the yard every evening while watching the sunsets from the front porch. We were looking for rest and relaxation and we found it. But it was also close enough to Asheville, Biltmore, and the Blue Ridge parkway to enjoy those areas, too. We will definitely be back.

Excellent mountain view
This property has a beautiful view of the mountains and an amazing sunset. The house has a private lake where my son went fishing. They have a hot tub outside. The inside has 1 full bathroom and the masterbathroom does not have a shower it has a stand alone tub without a shower curtain where you can not shower or water will get everywhere. They do have a washing machine and dryer, just bring detergent. We reached at night and because the house is in the mountains it was a little dark but when we woke up the views were amazing. The manager of the property is impossible to reach but the check in was exactly the way the email lets you know. We had plenty of toilet paper the reason I say that is because I read a lot of people mentioned that in other reviews. I would recommend staying here to those who love the mountains and an amazing sunset.

My family and I had an amazing visit at 100 Acre Woods. My adult sons had the best time visiting with Hershey the donkey. We saw several wild turkeys, enjoyed the pond, soaked in the hot tub and absorbed all the amazing views. The property was clean and had everything we needed, though I do agree with other comments on the insufficient amount of toilet paper. Otherwise the house was well stocked with everything we needed. We felt right at home and hated having to leave. We will certainly book again for future family get togethers.
