My family stayed at this beautiful home for four nights over the New Years holiday. The great room was perfect for us. We had windows on four sides to look out at the gorgeous hills and snow. We had a ton of table space for meals, puzzles and board games. The living room couches and chair were super comfortable and the warm and cozy fireplace was the icing on the cake. The kitchen was fully stocked and very easy to work around. The bedrooms were both super spacious and very comfortable, and the bathrooms were clean and very pretty. Even though it rained a lot, we had a break and used the outside firepit! And of course we visited the Grand Canyon. I would highly recommend a stay at this beautiful home. We canā€™t wait to go back!!!

We absolutely loved staying there. Or boys (two golden retrievers) ) had the best time. The porch wraps all around which I loved. We used fire pit and BBQ. Went to local parks and the Grand Canyon of PA. Lovely Mennonite store not far. Must go there! Highly recommendā€¦.

Remote enough to satisfy the desire to get away from it all while still being close enough to everything that you may need. About 15 min from Wellsboro for groceries and restaurants. About 30 min in any direction from lots of hiking trails. Also about a 30 min drive to access points for the pine creek rail trail for biking. House itself has a big open floor plan on the main floor and comes stocked with everything you need. There is a wrap around deck for grilling and relaxing. Communication with the owner was very easy. No issues whatsoever. Highly recommended.

My family rented Marianneā€™s beautiful mountain home for Thanksgiving. Bold move to rent someoneā€™s house to cook in, right? Thatā€™s how stocked and prepared Marianne is as a host. We had more than enough pots, pans, and dishes to cook and eat without having to wash a single item. The layout of the home is perfect for entertaining with bar seating as well as a long table. Marianneā€™s interior design skills are unmatched. There is not a corner of the house that is not skillfully decorated. The large shower, fluffy bath towels (which are now in my shopping cart for my own home), fireplace, and layered LL Bean/Ugg bedding add to the feel of a cozy mountain home. As a host, Marianne is so welcoming and ensures her guests know she is just a text away. She is thoughtful about what her guests might need while enjoying their stay, down to the k-cup and q-tip. We look forward to returning in the spring to use the outdoor space! Thanks for having us, Marianne!

We were at this property in October last year and decided to return this year. Leaves were awesome even though we had a cloudy week. We travel with our very well behaved dogs. They love this house and the surrounding area. People in town are very nice to chat with as in tge rest of Tioga County. Wellsboro is super chill, we found some new restaurants on our return w/ some new ones scheduled to open in the future. Marianne is a great host and very quick to respond with any questions you might have. If you want to go out for the day and board your pups, we highly recommend Grand Canyon Veterinary in town. They have an attached kennel, very knew and clean. We put our crew into doggie daycamp both years for a daytrip to Corning NY. Great little town, cool glass museum! Enjoy your stay

This is an amazing property! Not only the cabin, but also the property. Marianne meeting us there and showing us around was a huge help. We loved the Town of Wellsboro. Beautiful house inside and out. Marianne provides everything you need for a vacation. Quiet location in the mountains. But only 15 min to town. The leaves were starting to change color and falling from the trees. Weather was perfect. Needed heat at night/early am the fireplace for heat added to the Fall feeling. Saw deer, turkeys and woodpeckers.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at this property. Everything was as described, and the owner was extremely helpful and responsive leading up to and during our stay. Excellent proximity to hiking trails and vistas with beautiful views of the PA grand canyon. A quick drive to the town of Wellsboro, with some great restaurants and shops. We enjoyed staying at the cabin! It was clean, quiet, and conveniently located a short distance from historic Wellsboro. The owners also provided updated suggestions on local hiking trails, which makes the cabin a great place to stay for anyone wanting to enjoy the PA Grand Canyon. Highly recommend!

My family stayed at this gorgeous cabin in the woods near Wellsboro PA. The scenery was gorgeous. We had a beautiful fire pit with all the wood we needed supplied. The cabin was very spacious with great decor. Everything was in working order and impeccably clean! A new internet system was just installed and our phone and tv worked super fast. I would recommend this location. Itā€™s peaceful and relaxing but near several attractions!
