« Peace and quiet is what we wanted with a place to throw a line in the water. It was perfect. The hosts are very receptive and accomodating. The fresh eggs were welcoming. The cabin is a great get away for people who need that. We will definitely be back. »

« We had a blast while staying here. Except the craziest mosquitoes, which has nothing to do with the place/host. I loved the newly remodeled house. The bathroom need a towel hanger, though. And for the readers information, note that there is no internet/wifi connection available. The host made it clear on the list but I didn’t take notice. You will have to use your data/hot spot to use internet or TV. Overall, it was a fun stay. We had fishing for three days and got couple of fish and crabs....

« We were looking for a place to stay while we went fishing. It was fine for that. The air couldn't cool down below 87 during the day. However it was over 100 outside. Just curious, does anyone ever use the toddler beds that take over the 2nd bedroom. Seems to me a twin bed in the room might be better. »

« I really enjoyed my stay here. It was cozy and comfortable…it was just as advertised. The Host was responsive and very accommodating. I arrived late and couldn’t really see the numbers of the cottage, however he answered my call immediately and guided me to my booked cabin. I will definitely be rebooking. »

« The only issue was that the water from the tank on the toilet seemed to constantly flow from the tank to the bowl. I was able to fix that by just turning off the water. The wifi for the roku did not seem to work as well, but I still believe that is was an excellent stay. »

« Our family spent the majority of Spring Break here this week (3 nights). We had an excellent time enjoying the pool, cooking out on the patio with the grill and caught around two dozen small sheepshead (No keepers, but they were some biters & fighters!!!). The house fit our family of six comfortably and the wi-fi was fast enough that the teens could play their video games in the evenings. « We had a remarkable stay at this beautiful 3-bedroom home in Damon, Texas. « The people were very friendly around the site. Check in process easy. The house is a tiny house so the beds were upstairs the air conditioning does not cool off upstairs area fans were provided but they did not work. I called the number listed to contact the owner but there was no answer. My husband and I had to build a pallet to sleep downstairs where there was some type of air. The floor was filthy and there was dog hair everywhere. The bbq pits in the pergola area are all locked, the games...

« The cabin is super cute with everything you need for a weekend stay. Very clean and quiet. The San Benard River, Dollar General, and gas station are all conveniently located within walking distance. It's an easy 20min drive to the beach. Communication was easy and everyone was very kind. Highly recommend. »
