The communication was wonderful. The room was a described, everything was clean. The coffee areas were appreciated. Personal preference the bed was too soft for me but cozy linens and nicely made. The house was decorated adorably. The shower in the Pearl room was problematic, cold water shooting out and on the floor because the small size leaves no way to adjust with the door closed. Last thing the driveway is really difficult to locate in the day, at night time nearly impossible. All in all I thank the host for a nice place, close to where we needed to be.

Beautiful Victorian, well appointed room as well as library, kitchen and coffee station, close to great eateries, shops, farmers markets, driving distance to beaches. We visited off season for a family gathering so brief in/out 2 night stay. Bed was incredibly comfortable, room very spacious. Sound machine dampened some of the road noise, but it was quite a lot and constant through the night so that kept us up as we aren’t used to noises anymore. The pocket door to the bathroom got stuck a few times and had us a bit concerned until we figured out where it needed to be lifted and pushed to release it so we could “get out”. - such is the case with old homes- no big deal. The host was very responsive, a pleasure to deal with, very easy check-in/out, and had a rather thorough list of area places to visit for food, sundries, etc. we will gladly return!

We were attending a concert at the Lizzie Rose Music Room, which was located very close to your home. All that we needed was provided in our room or in your shared kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that you provide a lighter weight bedspread/summer quilt for the bed during the warmer months. Also, the bed itself is quite soft. I know some people may prefer that, but we are more comfortable in a firmer mattress.We will be looking forward to visiting your home again in the future!

Clean & Cozy Room

Clean, cozy, and personal bedroom with on-suite bathroom. Thoughtful amenities and welcoming shared spaces. Great communication with owner who thought of everything and who was willing to go the extra mile to help make our trip perfect.

The Pearl was a great room with its own private bathroom. The property has a great kitchen area, front porch, and library/den for relaxing that are available to all guests. We would definitely return. The only recommendation I have is to have a full length mirror in the room as a lot of wedding guests stay at this property. A minor recommendation, but throwing it out there. Such a great stay!! Thank you for being so accommodating!

My GF and I decided to stay another night in NJ before heading to her family’s rental. It was the perfect little spot. Cozy, clean and quiet neighborhood. Check-in was very easy and the communication was great. The Pearl is a great sized space for two people. Plenty of room, yet cozy. The bathroom is cute and a decent size. I thought the bed was a little too soft but my GF loved it. The hot tub was a nice touch and relaxing after a long travel day. The house was very clean with charming decor. You could hear other guests walking around upstairs but it was quiet at bedtime and we both slept very well. We didn’t stay long enough to use the kitchen or the washer/dryer but that would be a big plus for a multi day stay. I would recommend this place for anyone who needs to stay somewhere in the area. The price is great and the host and house were wonderful. I would definitely stay again.

Super Clean and Comfy Room

The owner does a wonderful job with the property. You feel cozy and comfortable, and she has many nice touches not only in decoration, but in things like coffee and occasional baked goods. Her level of communication is top-notch.
