„The house was exactly as it looks in the photos. Very charming and clean. Also peaceful. Just be aware that the “2 twin beds in the common space” are the two (very hard) futons in the living room. My group was made up of seven 40-yr-old women and there was no way any of us could sleep on those things, so two of us ended up having to share one of the actual twin beds in a bedroom. I highly suggest taking an air mattress and your own pillows if you have more than 6 people over the age of 25!“

„We had 13 extended family members for 6 nights. The house was great. Up to date, well stocked, and comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The kids loved jumping off the dock. The Traeger grill was fun - easy to use, delicious BBQ! Plenty of options for eating meals indoors or out on the patio. Can't say enough about how wonderful of a time we had.“

„The house is very large and full of couches and chairs for large groups. The kitchen is large and fun to cook in. The location is great, the creek that flows across the property traverses a concrete weir or old crossing that creates a nice waterfall noise effect. The towns people were friendly and we had a great time.“

„Huge old house with good bones, and a remodel in progress. The 3 bathrooms have been updated, and there are good beds, linens and towels. Some simple things like reading lights in the bedrooms, in addition to the ceiling light you have to get out of bed to turn off, would make it more liveable. The floors throughout are wood, and some rugs would make it quieter and more comfortable. Seven adults had plenty of space, and were happy with our choice to stay in this classy old home instead of at a ...
