A little more shabby than chic
The 3B/2B was a great size, and location is convenient, and price was great for all of us to have some elbow room, but a few things could def be better. House was super hot when we arrived, A/C was completely off, took a few hours to cool off (and windows wouldn't open to get a cross breeze). HVAC air handler is in the 2nd bedroom, so that bedroom door has to stay open 24/7 for the AC air flow to work properly. Couch and side chairs were very low, difficult for anyone over 50yo to use, and TV is painfully too high on the wall. Overall house had an odd smell, air "freshener" just added more odor. A few minor things could easily help--needs a shower caddy in the primary bath, more lighting (under cabinet) in the kitchen, a small shelf over the sink in each bathroom, and more than one bath towel per person would be nice too. Can't do anything about the train tracks that are very close by, but light sleepers might want ear plugs.
