I am writing to formally request a refund for our reservation due to a very unsatisfactory experience at your hotel on New Year’s Eve.
We arrived at the hotel at 3:00 PM, which was the official check-in time. However, we were required to wait at the front desk for over one hour before being assisted. When we finally accessed the room, it was not clean, and the air conditioner was not functioning.
We immediately requested to be moved to another room, but we were informed that no alternative rooms were available and that we would need to wait until another room became free. When we asked how long the wait would be, the staff could not provide any estimate.
As this was New Year’s Eve, we had our evening planned and a scheduled meeting, and it was not possible for us to wait an indefinite amount of time. Due to these circumstances, we requested a refund and were forced to find another hotel at the last minute, which was extremely difficult and time-consuming given the holiday.
Considering the long wait, unsanitary room conditions, lack of working air conditioning, and the inability of the hotel to provide a suitable solution, we believe a full refund is fully justified.
We look forward to your prompt response and resolution of this matter.
