Wake up to the sound of the running stream in this bright, beautiful loft as it faces Fitzsimmons Creek in a quiet forested area. Our home is located between the two villages. It’s a few minutes walk to Whistler Village & Blackcomb Mountain, the base of both gondolas and Valley Trail System. This inviting lofted one bedroom townhome has a distinct atmosphere with natural, personalized decor featuring a cozy wood-burning fireplace. Perfect ski-in/ski-out vacation spot for your family & friends.

Just a 2-minute walk to the mountain ski lifts, après-ski bars, mountain bike trails & hiking trails.

Our charming one bedroom apartment has a distinct atmosphere and accommodates up to four guests.

The living room features wood burning fireplace comfortable sofabed and armchair. Open the sliding door to access to a patio surrounded by the forest. The sofabed in the living room provides an additional sleeping space. The dining area that is the part of living space seats four guests comfortably.

The kitchen features all the appliances everybody’s home needs.

The master bedroom features a queen sized bed.

The bathrooms features a glass-enclosed shower and a single vanity. A fully equipped laundry is located on the upper floor.

There is secured underground parking for one car and our guests could use visitor parking for one vehicle as well.

The Gables, situated at the banks of Fitzsimmons Creek in Upper Whistler Village, is one of only a few complexes in Whistler that are ski-in/ski-out. The building is surrounded by a beautiful forested area. Fitzsimmons Creek rushes close by for extra mountain ambiance. It's just steps to Blackcomb or Whistler gondola bases. The Family Adventure Zone is located 220m away. It is a fun place filled with plenty of children's activities. Kids ski school and apres spots is close by. Grocery and liquor stores are only a 5-minute walk away.

You can explore the neighborhoods by bus, free shuttle, bike or on foot or the 24-hour taxi service.

You can catch a ride on the free Whistler shuttle system, running from 5:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. year-round. If you're headed to Whistler Village, just get a quick ride on a convenient shuttle that stops close to our unit.

Avid skiers, this is a beautiful property that puts you right next to Fitzsimmons Creek and offers the convenience you require by being next to Whistler Village and Blackcomb mountain base. Ski almost to the door. You are steps away from Blackcomb Base. Whistler Base is a bit farther but is also in walking distance. In the summer, the Village activities and Valley Trail System are at your doorstep.

I respectfully remind all my guest to please treat it as they would want their home to be treated. There is zero tolerance for smoking in the unit and we ask that you be mindful of noise levels so it does not disturb the neighbors. Please remove and keep your shoes, ski boots, and snowboard boots in the mudroom. If my cleaners smell smoke or believe you were disrespectful as a guest, the cleaning fee will be doubled. Pets should not be on the beds and if extensive cleaning is required to remove pet hair, waste or vomit from the furniture, the cleaning fee will be doubled.
Shorter showers are encouraged to leave enough warm water for all your guests, they will love you for it. You can help conserve energy by closing windows and doors in the winter. This also keeps hungry wild animals from coming inside to feed. Please do not use indoor furniture outside.
Do notify us of any broken or missing items or if any repairs are required. Often we don’t know unless our guests tell us. Thank you for your cooperation.

Turning on the heat

There are several thermostats throughout the property, simply turn the knob clockwise to bring up the temperature and anti-clockwise to turn off the heat. In the living room, we have a gas fireplace which you can use. Use remote to turn on/off the fireplace.
Recycling
-------------------------------
Recycling is mandatory in Whistler, kindly sort out the glass bottles from paper product and waste then deposit them in the appropriate bin of the Garbage Room. Should the strata issue a fine for improper disposal of recycles and garbage, the guest will be responsible for it.
