Hotel Whitby

« In spite of some very lovely staff, this hotel is in an appalling state and desperately need of a facelift. Water damage on the walls, peeling paint, leaking toilets, a broken shower and windows that haven’t been cleaned in years. The owners need to spend a lot of money on this establishment that must have been spectacular in the past, as neither it or the staff deserve it being left in this state. »

« We loved our stay here, it was so near to whitby centre. The room was good, a negative is no where to dry towels. We had to ask for more coffee and sugar, as we were staying three nights. We will recomnend a stay at Penny Hedge. Staff could not do enough for us , all very friendly and polite. We will come again now we know of the hotel . Caroline and Laura were helpful , we rang because we could not quite find your location on our sat nav. staff helped us on this matter and then found you...

« We have stayed at the Wilson Arms a number of times and everything is just perfect. Lovely and helpful staff. Always smiling and happy. The rooms are always comfortable, clean and have everything you need. The bar area is very nicely decorated and the range of drinks should suit everyones taste, it does ours. The menu is quite large and definitely value for money. Cooked and presented perfectly. Breakfast is always worth waiting for. You won't get better. Already planning our next booking. »
