« Beautiful old home in the heart of Harper’s Ferry. Location cannot be beat. Outstanding views of the rivers from the backyard. The steps, inside and out, are no joke. And the AC only works well in one bedroom. But, all in all. We would go back. Very responsive hosts! »

« Our family needed a weekend getaway that wasn't too far from our home but had the amenities we wanted - like a pool and a fire pit and nice views!We arrived to a cozy and clean 3 bedroom cabin. We had a week-long heat wave and the cabin's split AC unit seemed to work well under those circumstances. We brought our 4 small dogs - but had them caged 90% of the time since we could not trust them to not jump on the couch with us. We roasted smores on the fire pit, enjoyed the lower deck bar and...

« Wonderful house on a lovely, quiet street. Immaculately clean. Great communication; easy check in, check out. House has many upgrades including modern bathrooms, kitchen with everything you need and plenty of extras. - games, books, etc. Beds are comfortable; bedrooms nicely decorated with historical features; lovely porch and back yard. Deer walking by in the morning. Walkable to town and great restaurants. Thank you! Would definitely stay here again. »

« Love this place! Clean, off the road a little, quiet area. She definitely made a smaller house feel like there’s a bit of room! Comfy king bed in one room (the other room had a queen bed which my son slept on). Nice size comfortable couch for the living room. »

« This is a wonderful modified log cabin house in Sharpsburg Maryland. Main floor has compact kitchen, living, dining room and full bath. Ground level is a very cosy living room/den with a fireplace. Upstairs is a comfy bedroom with half bath and an outside room with a daybed. Nicely antiquey furnishings, plenty of games, books, pamphlets, dog toys (!), baby gate (!). Excellent supply of good coffee. (Critical).We were here to see two plays at the Sheperdstown (WVa) contemporary theater...

« We LOVED our stay. The house has tons of room. The kids can be entertaining themselves in the huge basement game room while the adults have plenty of room to spread out upstairs. The screened in porch is complete with rocking chairs so that you can sit back and relax. The deck area has plenty of seating for everyone and a fire pit to enjoy at night. Don’t forget to enjoy the breathtaking view of the sunset from the ridge. It is definitely picture perfect. »

« The outdoor spaces exceeded my expectations of the property. There is ample space on the deck, the yard is enjoable with the views and firepit, and the front porch rocking chairs are relaxing with a cup of coffee and litening to the gentle rain.Young adults enjoyed the game room. My only suggestion would be to replace mattress in 1st floor bedroom, it sinks a little. That is a small inconvenience considering that everything else was lively and the kitchen was well supplied with cooking tools. »

« A wonderful place! Full of antiques and old-fashioned charm. We felt like we were in a cozy antique shop. Every room had delightful treasures to discover. Very tastefully decorated. The kitchen had all the modern conveniences. Each room had its own air conditioner so we could all have our desired temperatures at night. Check- in was effortless. Lisa was very responsive to the questions we had. We would love to stay again! »
