« Clean well maintained property with a great location on lake. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and we will be back do sure. »

« A lot of area beautification needs to be done. Ants, and bugs were present in full force. Location was nice. Comfort was fine. The over powering smell of cologne took some time getting used too. There is NO hot tub. There is but it’s not hooked up to gas or a heater unit. »

« I hesitate to leave such a negative review but feel that if I had read something similar to what I’m about to write, it would’ve affected my decision on renting this unit. This unit has a cockroach problem. The owner said that he has never had this problem before; however, I looked back at the reviews to see if I had missed any mention of this. Sure enough, it looks like the September 7th review of this unit also mentioned pests inside. I can confirm this, and there were also bugs on the balcony...

« The exterior photos and location are lovely, but I booked this stay to get a weekend breath after a death in the family and was devastated to arrive to an unfinished shack that had no running water, no insulation, cracks and holes in the walls with the roof patches falling in, and a wasp infestation! This is not the kind of stay that I would wish on my enemy. We froze all night, flight off spiders and yellow jackets returning to a missing nest, and were bothered by loose dogs that weren't listed...

« Everything was as described. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. The view over Lake Conroe was magnificent, especially the evening sunsets! The only downside was that the elevator was down, but that was disclosed to us at booking. My wife and I had no problems, but definitely wouldn’t work for someone who has trouble on stairs until the elevator is repaired. »

« Needing a quick, close getaway, this place was the perfect escape. Even though the weather was a bit chilly, so we didn't get a chance to enjoy the hot tub, we still enjoyed a nice nature walk. The house was warm and inviting, and we really enjoyed the welcome cookies and the fresh eggs . Will definitely stay here again. »
