« Gorgeous country setting with front and back porches for enjoying the rolling hill setting. Simple check in and check out including fresh baked cookies waiting in kitchen. Two comfortable bedroom suites with individual baths. Large great room and well equipped kitchen. Twenty minutes from Bardstown distilleries and fifteen minutes from Makers Mark. Great way to explore this part of the Bourbon Trsil. »

« Did a quick getaway for my wife's birthday and it was great. Cute little home by the lake with a nice back patio area for grilling and a hot tub which me and our aon very much enjoyed. Easy to get too, and safe,quite, and scenic neighborhood. Great deal! »

« A true historic gem in a beautiful area of Kentucky! The cottage is spacious, well appointed, and was immaculately clean on our arrival. We stayed five nights and enjoyed the property immensely. But what the website cannot convey is the sheer sense of history you experience by staying in this wonderful place. Merchants Row, where the cottage is situated, is largely unchanged from its 1840s origins. The house across the road had a cannonball through its window during the Civil War, another...

« A wonderful experience. The hosts are kind, accommodating, and welcoming. The pool house is as described, only better! Offering all the comforts of home, and more. The surroundings are tranquil and beautiful. My stay was too short, but I will return. Angels Rest is a gem! Thank you, Val and Jim. »

« This cottage was perfect! It was clean and we had plenty of room! It's a short drive to the marina and to the gas station/convenient store. In addition to the lake, we enjoyed using the hot tub on the deck and community pool in the resort. »
