« What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. »

« The area was nice and quiet with just the sounds of the birds and the wind in the trees. Amenities were good. Bedrooms were really small and the cabin was a bit dated particularly the bathroom which also was very small. Bed was a bit hard for my liking, but sheets were clean and crisp. »

« My wife and I took a long weekend break and stayed in the Shawood Bottling Room. It was a wonderful stay. Nice high ceilings, good kitchen, parking, etc. Everything we were hoping for. We made our way up the paddock to watch the sunset each night, which was a great suggestion from the host. Not a critique, but I would have loved to have the option to purchase some local wine too. Mind you, we did shop ourselves at the various cellar doors. A great space and location to get away from it all. »
