« Nous avons été accueillis avec gentillesse et efficacité dans les informations nécessaires par le couple de propriétaires germano-irlandais, ancien professionnel de l’hotelerie dans une demeure du 19e siècle construit comme la maison des huguenots.... 8 chambres spacieuses toutes différentes les unes des autres avec de vaste salle bain qui donnent sur des jardins de lavande et différentes plantes odorantes d’Afrique du Sud... Grand salon décoré avec soin avec une cheminée pour les soirées...

« We had a wonderful 3 night stay at this beautiful country inn set in a pretty vineyard. The rooms are beautiful along with common spaces. Lovely fireplace and breakfast room. Everything was delicious and freshly made. The omelet is incredible. Very easy by Uber from Capetown airport or downtown/pier areas. The Inn is a few minutes walk from the cute and elegant town. Treat yourself to this beautiful inn and country town. Dino and staff are great. »

« Very beautiful place with very welcoming owners. This break at the end of the working day was very relaxing. For Europeans not used to loadshedding, bring mosquito repellent to protect yourself from their arrival when the fan stops! This will not stop me from coming back each time I will visit Paarl. I will then also be able to dine at the restaurant, which I have heard so much about. »

« A warm welcome from Luc & Hilda, we were given a large, nicely decorated modern room with very comfy bed and the shower room & toilet were to the same high standard. Very nice breakfast served by Luc and his friendly team, it was autumn when we visited so it can be cool at night in South Africa, the bed’s electric blankets made them warm and cosy, the open log fire in the breakfast room was very nice in the morning and the log burner in the lounge was equally as inviting in the evening. « Le Manoir de Brandel est un excellent établissement. J´ai séjourné quelques jours dans cet hôtel. Lors de monséjour il n´y avait personne! Donc je suis enchanté de l´accueil qui m´a été réservé. La suite numéro 9 est impeccable. Le lit est très bon. Il y a deux salles de bain (avec douche et baignoire). Le petit déjeuner est délicieux avec un très bon choix de produits. « We stayed here 30 years ago and it was great to be back in beautiful Paarl. New owners are very friendly and so helpful... their little doggie snowy so sweet. Its a listed building and having breakfast in the old part of the house is so cool. That is a true South African breakfast. Delicious. Never tasted a eggs bennie that good. »
