« The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The room had everything we needed and had modern facilities. The hotel was in a good location for visiting sites in the area. The restaurant attached to the hotel was also excellent. »

« Greeted on arrival and they took the time to show me to my room. The room is simple but everything I needed and it was really quiet at night. »

« All the staff super friendly and the room was very big and clean. The mattress wasn’t great though and the noise travelled through the rooms- people above were quite noisy. Breakfast had good options but the scrambled egg on toast wasn’t great- should’ve done the full English! Would stay again but the bed could be comfier and hopefully not as noisy people above next time. »

« I stayed over on a Tuesday evening, I arrived at 5.00pm to find the hotel all locked up, after waiting for what seemed an age, I found the gardener, she was very helpful, and called someone, she then got the keys and let me into my room, the room was very nice, however the restaurant isn't open, and no bar. I was looking forward to a nice meal at the Michelin star restaurant. I had to go to the pub next door, but they stop serving food early, so I had to beg for them to open the kitchen again...

« On the first night, we had a fire alarm at 3 a.m. It took the night auditor 30 minutes to turn it off. No complimentary gesture or apology was offered. The hotel is outdated for a 4-star property. The bathroom silicone is moldy, the carpet is stained and needs a deep clean, and the room was very dusty. The reception staff were not helpful, the phone was not working in a room so hard to get the reception.. and when the shower temperature kept going from very hot to very cold. Coffee and tea were...
