« My friend and I went on a beer, wine and distillery tasting tour from Texas Wine Tours where we were picked up & dropped off at the home in Harper which was only a 25 minute drive from Fredericksburg. We enjoyed the quietness and the Longhorn Cafe was within walking distance from the home. The home was really cozy, we enjoyed all the photos of the family's history and sitting out on the screened porch at night. I would go back because of it's proximity to Fredericksburg and it's not as busy. »

« This property checks all the boxes for everything you’d want for a relaxing getaway. Home and grounds are immaculate. Calm, quiet and serene and the added bonus of random wildlife makes being in or outside in the rocking chairs awesome. »

« Comfortable and homey! The wrap around porch was the greatest especially in the morning for coffee. Roomy kitchen was well stocked with equipment. Wifi and good tv service. Great beds and bathrooms. Even though you have to walk a ways to the river. It's a superb place for swimming, diving, floating, just sitting. Would visit again. »

« There was so much room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The dining area was plenty big but could use more chairs. The kitchen was plenty big but could use more kitchenware. The master bath was beautiful and comfortable but a broken window made it so we could hear everything in the kitchen. The shower was really cool, but not all the shower heads were functional. « Nice, quiet place on the Guadalupe River to enjoy time with our family. Everyone is ready to come back again. Loved that every bedroom had it's own bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans. »

They also loved having the ability to fish whenever they wanted. The cons were: The inability to have a fire at night in a fire pit, it was chilly at night. We also felt like we were being watched. « This Airbnb deserves more than 5 stars—it’s an absolute 10! The house was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and felt so warm and inviting. Everything was perfectly up-to-date, from the modern appliances and TVs to the coffee maker. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and all the supplies provided were so helpful.
