I feel it’s important to leave this review as future guests deserve to know the full picture — especially families.The area of Mlini is peaceful and charming, and the views from the communal pool are stunning at sunset. The apartment was clean and reasonably equipped.However, several safety and access issues made our stay stressful and unsuitable for a family. The walk to the beach, advertised as 9 minutes, involves a steep, partly unpaved and unlit trail through uneven terrain. At the bottom, you must cross a busy, curved two-lane road with no crossing or traffic lights. This felt genuinely dangerous, especially with children.Car access is also problematic — the narrow, steep hill becomes slippery in rain. One taxi slid backwards while collecting us, and others had similar issues. We avoided using our car altogether.The communal pool, while lovely, is not on site but a short walk away via another property.Most concerning was a serious health incident: our children suffered a toxic reaction after using the shared jacuzzi, likely due to chemical overexposure. One fainted. While the owner closed the jacuzzi, the situation was frightening and could have been far worse.In summary: beautiful area, but the property was totally unsuitable for us. I would not recommend it.
