Azoren: Tauchurlaub

I loved the location, which was so close to the beach, that you could hear the sound of the waves. It was breathtaking at sunrise and sunset. The staff was very nice and tried to help with food restrictions (although there were some diffeculties with the understanding of what food is really vegan (e.g. eggs in pasta, butter on bread. Please ask twice to be sure. ;) ). The hotel is in a quiet region but close to the airport and you can start a hike nearby. I would recommend the place without hesitation!

Honeymoon We had the honor of being the first guests at the hotel and spending our honeymoon there. We were picked up at the airport by the manager and taken to the hotel. I have NEVER seen such a hotel emerge out of nowhere and immediately surpass all the hotels on the island. The attention to detail is stunning. The decor throughout the hotel is exquisite and of very high quality. The room is wonderfully quiet, and every day there was a fresh and clean room with fresh fruits and new drinks. EVERY request was like a command to the hotel. The staff is absolutely friendly and accommodating. Every smallest question was professionally answered immediately. I have rarely seen such friendly, professional, and at the same time unobtrusive staff. The breakfast was delicious every day. The kitchen fulfilled every wish. You were always warmly welcomed to eat. The staff remembered our preferences and paid attention to every small detail, tailoring everything to us. The wellness area is very clean and very relaxing. Incredibly great pool, and the Turkish bath is very good. The hotel's own bar is also the best bar on the entire island. Even on the day of departure, there was a packed lunch. It's not a pompous hotel. It's a quiet luxury that no hotel on the island can replicate. This elegance, in the middle of the Atlantic, is worth every penny. Super Lage, schönes Gebäude, toller Blick suf Hafen und pico. Sehr ruhig und gepflegt.

Ein sehr schönes und perfekt renoviertes Hotel in einem alten Herrenhaus. Toller Park, schöne Aussicht. Das Zentrum ist zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, wirkt aber amateurhaft und wenig geschult. Frühstück ist bescheiden und schlecht präsentiert; die kleine Kaffeemaschine völlig unzureichend und ständig außer Betrieb, Eier und Zutaten schon früh kalt und ungenießbar. Ein so schöner Ort verdiente besseres Management.
