The hotel was lovely. I chose it for the seafront location and I was not disappointed! The sunsets from the hotel are absolutely stunning. The best thing about it, in my opinion!!! My terrace was right by the sea and the room was huge! The sea is crystal clear here but the beach is all pebbles. The hotel's rooftop restaurant serves delicious food with the most beautiful views and I also had a nice massage in the spa. The bed was comfortable and the mini bar/fridge is a nice touch in the room. Most of the staff at the hotel were friendly too. Breakfast offered a nice variety (loved the mini muffins!) and there were some seats outside too. Podstrana itself seemed quite small (there was a convenience store or two and a couple of fast food stands and one tiny souvenir shop on the harbour but not much else nearby), but it was lovely and peaceful for just a couple of nights peace-and-quiet stay, before I headed off to Split centre for the rest of my week to explore more and attend a hen do.

We stayed here for four nights. The hotel's location was fantastic—just a 5–10 minute walk to the harbor and Hvar Old Town. Most of the staff were very friendly and hospitable. The rooms were small, but in perfect condition. However, a few things detracted from our experience: We had booked a room with a sea view, but it was more of a pool view. The room directly faced the pool, meaning people could easily see inside, so we had to keep the curtains closed at all times. As a result, we couldn't enjoy any sea view. This should be corrected in the listing—it should state “pool view” instead. We paid extra for a sea view and didn’t get it, which felt disappointing. The room lacked basic amenities such as a kettle, tea, or coffee. I fell ill during the last two days of our stay and wasn’t able to get any hot water for tea after 11 PM, as the restaurant was also closed. The hygiene of the breakfast plates was shockingly poor. Almost every plate we picked up had visible dust, felt greasy, and appeared not to have been properly washed.

Essen war hervorragend bis auf die Säfte bzw. eher die Wassersirup-Mischung sowie, dass alle Getränke (ja auch Wasser) bei Halbpension am Abend nur gegen gebühr erhältlich ist. Die Lage ist ein Traum, die Anlage ist in einem gepflegten zustand.

Sehr schönes Hotel, tolle Lage, schöner Beachclub ( kostenlos im Oktober!) Frühstücksbuffet top: eine mega Auswahl an veganen und glutenfreien Produkten, ganz viele Teesorten und Getränke auf dem Buffet; man konnte sich sogar Cappuccino bestellen, der im Frühstückspreis mit enthalten war - vielen Dank! Spa- Bereich riesig, weitläufig sehr gepflegt, sauber und ist eine kinderfreie Zone. Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein Manko: Leider war die Dusche in unserem Zimmer leicht schimmelig und der Duschkopf wackelig in der Halterung Strandpromenade wird auf Hochtouren gerade renoviert und bebaut - bin gespannt im nächsten Jahr, wenn es fertig ist.
