Während des Aufenthaltes wurde die Regelung für das Frühstück geändert, der Preis wurde natürlich nicht reduziert. Außerdem war das Hotel sehr laut, besonders in der Nacht. Am Wochenende wurde es erst um 3 Uhr in der Nacht ruhig

Our stay at Santa Monica Proper Hotel had both strong points and noticeable downsides. The room itself was very nice, modern, stylish, and with a beautiful Scandinavian-inspired design. Everything was very clean, and the overall aesthetic of the hotel feels contemporary and well thought out. However, the hotel’s architectural layout was not ideal for us. Since the walkways to the rooms are partially open to the outside rather than fully enclosed, it was often quite loud whenever leaving or entering the room. The wind also caused the doors to creak and make noise throughout the night, which could be surprisingly disruptive and occasionally startling while trying to sleep. Unfortunately, the view from the room was not particularly nice either. The pool area was decent and enjoyable enough, but overall it did not feel like a true 5-star experience in terms of atmosphere or amenities. The reception staff was generally friendly, but often came across as somewhat unorganized and not especially attentive or proactive when it came to guest service. Overall, the hotel has a beautiful design concept and very stylish rooms, but the service and overall luxury experience did not fully live up to the expectations of a 5-star property.

Wir haben das Hotel sehr geliebt. Es ist wunderbar ruhig gelegen und bietet eine entspannte Atmosphäre. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel, sehr sauber und großzügig geschnitten. Besonders angenehm ist die Nähe zum Strand, der in nur wenigen Gehminuten erreichbar ist. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen und kommen sehr gerne wieder.
