Dublin Southside: Angelferien

Unfortunately, this was one of the worst four-star hotel experiences I have ever had. The condition of the hotel was completely unacceptable and, in my opinion, nowhere near the standard one would reasonably expect from a four-star property. The issues included: ● Throughout the bathroom, numerous tiles were chipped or damaged, leaving dangerously sharp edges. ● There were red stains on the bathroom floor. ● The room had stains on the walls in various places and was generally very run-down and poorly maintained. ● There was mould in the washbasin, which is particularly concerning from a hygiene perspective. ● The service was also extremely disappointing. Towels were only changed when specifically requested, and even then, the fresh towels were not brought to the room. Instead, they were simply left on the floor in the general hotel corridor. This is completely unacceptable for a four-star hotel. Considering that we paid €1,600 for two rooms, I find the condition of the accommodation and the level of service particularly disappointing. At this price point, I expected a clean, well-maintained hotel that meets the standards associated with a four-star rating. The combination of poor maintenance, hygiene concerns, and inadequate service significantly affected our stay. I therefore believe that compensation is entirely justified and would like to request a substantial refund of the amount paid.
