The room was great (clean, spacious), but overall, the property is not something I would recommend. There is nothing nearby so once you're there, you're stuck. There are around 5 restaurants but they aren't open every day - so you're constantly trying to figure out where you can eat. There are times of the day when nothing is open so you are hungry with no options. They have a point system for you to get snacks/drinks from the little onsite market but there is no food there except twix and m&ms. Staff constantly badger you to join their "time-share" -and I mean, it's relentless. Breakfast buffet was good and the steakhouse was good, but other food options were not great. The Landshark had literally 1 beer on tap even though they claim to be a brewery. The food there was not even edible. I checked in at 5:30pm and was told my "room wasn't ready" and would have to wait an hour. When I confronted them about this, all of a sudden it was ready immediately. Then they told me some made up story about how the owner of the hotel was staying in there the night before and had a late check out - the owner of the hotel was staying in a mid-level room when there are way better rooms on property? I don't think so. The entertainment by the pool was boring - it was the same DJ for 5 days in a row yelling into a PA system and telling the same lame jokes. Every day, the same activities were planned to entertain you. We were bored to tears.
