Hotel Abell

« This hotel is very cute, clean and centrally located to the downtown Leonardtown area. Parking was very accessible and easy and I loved that breakfast was included. My only issue was the woman working at the front desk when we checked in. She was grumpy and not very friendly. We arrived at noon so we understood it was early and that all of our rooms might not yet be ready, but she seemed annoyed at us! And didn’t offer any accommodations to help us settle in after a 7 hour drive. »

« The umbrellas at the pool were all broken. No shade, direct sun Jellyfish in river, motel has no control over that »

« Wonderful view. Very large roof and bathroom. We were there only for two nights to rest. Thé bed is comfortable. »

« Did not use the laundry service. Parking was convenient. On the afternoon of July 17 when we checked in, the refrigerator in the room was not working. The desk clerk very quickly found us another room and solved the quandary. She deserves to be recognized for excellent service. »

« We had an excellent stay, and I especially want to recognize Carina at the front desk for her outstanding customer service. After breakfast, my husband accidentally left his phone behind. Carina found it and made sure it was safely returned to us. She was incredibly accommodating, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the entire experience. « The room had a sofa and desk seating area when you walked in the room. The bathroom was next and then the bedroom. The bedroom had the a/c unit. In order to cool off the sofa area the a/c had to be set below 70. Then you got a freezing bedroom and a much warmer sofa area. The sofa was very hard. We looked at the pullout mattress, but it was lumpy and you could feel the springs. The actual bed was fine and the walk-in shower was great. »

« The front desk people were so nice and helpful. I had two reservations for two days that they consolidated them so I didn’t have to move rooms. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Bathrooms seems bigger than other hotels. AC worked great on the 100 degree days. The restaurant lady was very friendly and did a great job keeping the tables clean and people fed. The cleaning lady was also friendly and kept the hotel very clean. »
