Modernes und ruhiges Hotel
Sehr nettes Hotel, 10 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof und 20 Minuten zu Fuss zur Uni. Schönes, gepflegtes Zimmer. Sehr ruhig. Das Bett was sehr bequem. Freundliches Personal im Pub nebenan. Schnelles WLAN.

Clean, quiet, nice sized room, no need to faff about with WiFi passwords as it was included /all sorted, pleasant staff, quite close to town centre. Water was hot in bathroom washbasin but could have done with being a bit hotter in the shower. ( ...or maybe it was just our ineptitude?) Stress- free pleasant stay. Thank you!

Was slightly disappointed with my stay the bedroom was fi e but the bathroom was poor i was pit in a disabled room the wetroom type shower lived up to ots name as the shower curtain was about 2 feet too short and the shower didnt drain properly so when i got oit to dry myself i was marooned in corner because the water was nearly running out of the door also thekeycard had tobe reloaded a couple of times

Absolutely love Aberystwyth it was our first time staying here and fair to say will be back. It accommodated for our family of four the beds were comfy to sleep on the kids loved it had a fabulous view (in the front) my little one loved watching the cars go past ! Can’t wait to come back

Ok for a one night stay
Not a great start. Had to wait at least 10 minutes at reception over in the pub to cjeck in. The receptionist wasbmakong and seving hot drinks in the bar. Despite asking another barmaid.was.told.to wait at reception and was then ignored. Room was a.little dated and worn but adequate for our one night stay. The breakfast service in the pub by a male server was excellent and food quality was good .

Nice room. good value for money.
Facilities were clean, staff super friendly, bed was comfortable the only snag was that there didn't appear to be hot water to the shower. I didn't have time to follow this up with the staff and could well have been something I was doing wrong.

The room was clean,all staff very friendly .easy to check in restaurant on site. Easy walk to town centre and the sea.Parking available on site which felt secure .card key entry again made you feel secure. A very enjoyable stay hope to return soon

On the whole, I really liked this hotel. Apart from the uncomfortably hard bed, the room was nice. One of the beds turned easily into a sofa and was more comfortable to sit on than lie on, although I would have liked an easy chair. I was impressed with the size of the coffee cups which are usually unreasonably small in hotels. our room was very clean and seems to have been freshly painted. There was some staining to the carpet outside the room but I don't hold that against them because I don't think it's possible to keep a carpet looking like new in a public area. The rooms are in a separate block which does look a bit like a prison from the outside but I didn't care because I didn't spend much time looking at the outside and I liked the inside fine. It was lovely and quiet at all times and we had absolutely no problems with the room. We didn't have breakfast so I can't comment, but we did have dinner on our first night. The food was lovely and the service impeccable. Jess, in particular was really warm and friendly especially when I thought I'd got the car registration wrong but hadn't and she had to change, then change back.

Not so good we was covered in bed bug bites hair in the bathroom and not very clean hotel and the breakfast was a shambles not enough staff kept asking for replemishments

Fine except for security
There was no outer door locks or onsite (in building entrance) reception. Phone mentioned for security guard if problems occurred, was outside of bedrooms in the general public accessable area, where the problem was likely to be, so not good on security

Nice to have the pub/restaurant so close for breakfast and dinner. Nice coffee/tea facilities with a daily refresh/change of biscuits as well. Would have loved a mini fridge or microwave but it was fine. Walkable to town centre.

restaurant was dirty, all the tables and furniture were sticky and not cleaned properly. staff were indifferent at check in and at meals. breakfast was missing items advertised. tea and coffee were a bunch of tea bags and nescafe with an urn of hot water. very poor and a disappointment after visiting regularly over the last 4 years.

Not a good experience for us
We informed that we will be reaching for a late check in . But was only 9:30pm . We had to wait for 15 mins for the reception person to come down and deal with us . She never smiled at us and was grump. The room we booked was for 2 Adults and 2 kids . It was a congested room and the additional beds were not at all comfortable
