  • Pine Lake Retreat sits on a 6 acre lake and is the perfect destination for you in Albany Ohio! You and your guests will be amazed with the lake view this vacation home offers from its multi-level large back decks. Spacious living in this ranch style retreat with two living rooms, open kitchen, dining area, 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms, 3 seasons room. The property is located just off the road of State RT 50 in a quiet setting that offers plenty of relaxation for you and your guests.

    Relax and stargaze around a firepit, or watch an amazing sunrise. The 6-acre Lake offers some great fishing, canoeing or kayaking, and some much-needed rest and relaxation. Plenty of nature in the nature preserve from deer, fox, ducks and geese. Take a 45 minute drive from your vacation rental to visit Old Man’s Cave, Cedar Falls, Ash Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won’t be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers!

    Pine Lake retreat is located 7 miles from Athens and Ohio University. Perfect for families wanting to spend time with their students studying at OU. The nearby State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. Guests will want to visit Athens and Ohio University or Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District, Stuart’s Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. If guests venture 1 mile to Lake Snowden you can enjoy the waterpark with family and friends. Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends.

We really enjoyed our stay! The kids loved the lake and had fun taking the canoe out. The guys enjoyed the fishing and the girls enjoyed staying cool inside. There were plenty of TV's and it was nice having a washing machine. The grounds were so pretty and we enjoyed our walks. It would have been to nice to have a large dining room table so we could all eat together and play games. Though it did have 2 dining tables so that was nice.

A great time.

We came here for a girls’ weekend and it was perfect. Enough room to spread out, a fully stocked kitchen, beautiful view of the water, and a super close proximity to Athens and OU. Would definitely recommend!

It was very nice, clean and great view. Enjoyed using the paddle boat. Could not get TV in living room to bring up something to watch. Hot tub was a little difficult to get into, especially for my elderly parents

Great Place

Stayed here for two nights with my son who was touring Ohio University. We both enjoyed it. Easy 12 minute drive to Athens. Clean, quite, relaxing place to stay. Well equipped with cleaning and cooking supplies.

Great place!!

Beautiful place, was much more than advertised. Ping pong in garage was great, double showers in master bath! Every room had a huge walk in closet. 7 level deck out back is huge.

Our overall experience was good but the pictures on the website didn’t match the house, the outdoor hot tub wasn’t there, the deck looks a lot different in the pictures with tables and swings that don’t exist

Nature’s Peace and serenity
