« This location is right in the heart of the University of Virginia grounds so it was very easy for us to drive to John Paul Jones arena for the basketball game and to Klockner Stadium for the lacrosse game. It is on a cu-de-sac with other houses. It is very close to restaurants, the Corner, and the downtown mall. « Great amenities. Enjoyed the spa, steam room, bar,falcon class, hiking trails and more. I was surprised the heated pools were open in February next time I'm bringing my bathing suit for some winter swimming. Our room was in the 700 building overlooking the lake. It did have a mini fridge that was a nice surprise. It didn't have elevator so conceige kindly carried my luggage up the stairs to the second floor. Our room did have an updated bathroom and a small outdoor balcony overlooking the lake....

« We had a grand time staying at the Afton Inn! If I had any questions the host responded in less then 10 minutes! The Inn was immaculate, and the staff I talked with were extremely kind and helpful. « Close to downtown mall . Staff provided excellent customer service. Check in was quick and when notified that we needed a refill of hand wash, the staff responded right away. My only negative take away are the bath towels were in need of good fabric softener. »
