„3rd visit to this lovely location, with the Hotel perched on the top of a hill overlooking spectacular views of rice fields. This is a very old building with a lovely history which is so evident everywhere on its grounds, in and outside of the building. The rooms are of a good size and the beds are very comfortable. Cleanliness is a priority as is staff friendliness. Overall, the experience is so positive and is a great get away or a stop on your journey through Portugal, at a very fair price.“

„Wir haben zu zweit 5 Nächte übernachtet. Das Hotel mit ca. 20 Zimmern befindet sich an einer sehr ruhigen Lage. Unser Zimmer war sehr grosszügig und sauber. Der Poolbereich bietet verschiedene Liegemöglichkeiten (Liegestuhl, Daybed, Terrasse). Die Restaurant-Preise sind eher teuer und Alternativen sind nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe vom Hotel.“

„A lovely unique hotel with delightful service. We were staying there during the blackout and the staff put together food and brought in to all the rooms along with candles and battery lamps. The staff worked so hard to make us comfortable and kept us updated on the power outage. Their kindness was very much appreciated. Would stay there again and again. “

„Auf einem Berg mit Rundumaussicht (bis Lissabon und auf Setubal), in einem renovierten Gebäude einer alten Burg. Tolle Atmosphäre, alles sieht im positiven Sinne "gediegen" aus. Die Zimmer sind aber modern eingerichtet mit Allem was man braucht, mit Blick auf die alte Burg. Gutes Essen!“

„O hotel é um uma quinta, muito sossegada. O quarto é espaçoso e confortável. Os funcionários são muito atenciosos. Única questão é a casa de banho, que apesar de estar bem limpa, saia um cheiro insuportável de esgoto dos ralos.“

„Very pleasant surprise. The Quinta was purchased by a well-off German back in 2017. He seem to have made it his pet project. Spared no expense to make it a top-notch retreat. The suite we stayed in was originally a horse stable that was turned into a super modern, large place with the help of some leading Lisbon design firm, while keeping some of it’s original features.
