„An amazing location and room. Great breakfast and convenient to walkable and drivable Lake District attractions.“

„Nettes Personal, eine Gastwirtschaft in der die Zeit stehen blieb, leckeres Essen, eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre zum chillen. “

„Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer gut gestaltet und komfortabel. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. “

„a very faint smell after dogs in my room. the spa had a few tiles that came off and one of the misty showers didn't work. however, the room-upgrade was grate and the food lovely.“

„The the property and gardens, of course are phenomenal. This is an older. estate property so some issues can be expected with the conditions of the finishes. Unfortunately, with us being seniors, it was very difficult for us to get our luggage to the third floor by stairs. The size of the rooms are also quite small but clean. Furniture in the room was appropriate for the period and comfortable. The staff was very helpful in trying to resolve outside issues such as Parking in town which is not ...

„Sehr schönes Haus, ruhig in der Natur gelegen. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes, grosses Zimmer. Kann man nur empfehlen. “

„Fantastic location and friendly staff. Wonderful cooked breakfast. Great choice of local beer.“

„Wunderbar romantisches Zimmer mit Blick auf den hauseigenen Garten. Sekt als Welcome Drink, inkludierter Cream Tea im Garten. Beides großartig. Frühstück ebenfalls sehr gut. Auf das Personal muss man tw. länger warten (Bar, Rezeption) und die Freundlichkeit könnte einen Tick größer sein. Ansonsten ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt!“

„Great value for the money. Bunk Bed was too firm.“

„It was a great location. We did find the car park a little bit tight and tricky to get into (as the road was fairly busy when we arrived). The cottage was great and had all we were after and the downstairs bathroom was great for my elderly Mum. The two single beds mattresses were a bit past their best so the only thing I’d suggest to improve the property would be an update of those. Otherwise it was a great place to stay right on the river.“

„Pros: Beautiful cottage, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds Cons: Living room can get very hot at the height of summer (main window has no shutters) Better go via Sykes or Lakelovers.“

„Lovely home in the Lake District. The parking can be tricky during the day so arrive after five and there’s no issue. “

„Really comfy, warm apartment with all the facilities needed. Perfect for the village, pubs and shops“
