« Our trip was such a great experience! Our host was very informative! The place comes with pretty much everything you need! Very clean and nostalgic to “ simpler times”. Very close to the river where we caught some fish. Bedding was clean and so was other furniture. Very relaxing and quiet spot to stay “ other than the railroad at some times LOL” but such a great place to stay and at the price. Very kid friendly as well! « Loved staying here SO much! Everything was extremely well kept. It was so peaceful. Host was accommodating - letting us change our stay to a day later when our travel plans changed. Only thing worth noting is the 15min drive up the mountain on gravel through very rural area! Made us wonder if we were in the right place haha - but that rural setting is what makes it so lovely and peaceful. We definitely want to come back! »

« There are definitely some issues going on with this rental. The bathroom fills with a scent of raw sewage if you keep the door closed like we did to keep our dog out. You couldn’t even breathe in there with the window opened. I failed to read all of the reviews before I booked it and it seems like I’m not the first person who has had this problem. « This place was perfectly suited for my family (ages 29 to 88)! The wraparound porch and views were our favorite part, but we also enjoyed the fire pit, the game room, and the big open feel of the living/dining room with lots of natural light. We were able to make our entire Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen! « Owners thought of every detail, even providing coffee, paper products (minus tissues), firewood and firestarter sticks. They came by and checked on us, were not intrusive at all. Very helpful, friendly and concerned that everything was ok, and suggested hiking trails nearby. Definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking for a relaxing time, beautiful sunsets and stunning mountain views. »
