The location was extremely close to where I was to be working for the weekend. The room was warm and comfortable. Sheets and towels were clean and the place was tidy. This is a motel, looks to be from the 1960's, judging by architecture and old fixtures. I needed an inexpensive place to stay overnight and this fit the bill perfectly. Do not stay here if you are used to modern hotel facilities because this is not like those places. I was disappointed that the game room photo is inaccurate, as there is only the old pool table down there now and a video game that was unplugged. No pinball, dart game or other games available. I didn't bother to see if the pool table was functioning but it looked to be a pay table (insert quarters). I could complain about a number of things, but I won't because for the price I was charged, I was satisfied.

Dirty and moldy

I had read reviews that said this place was basic but clean. I don’t need fancy accommodations but a big need is that the room is clean. Our room smelled heavy of cigarette smoke which I’m allergic too. So, I didn’t get much sleep snuggling up to the kleenex box. The shower curtain was covered in mold, the faucet handles for both the shower and vanity were broke. Overall, it just wasn’t a good experience at all.

I liked that it was less expensive than other hotels in the area and that you had a refrig and microwave. I did not need that on this stay but it is nice to have. I was disappointed in my room condition. I was the last one to check in for the night so maybe I got the worst one that was left. An updated shower and a coat of fresh paint and new carpet would go a long way to improve the look of the room I was assigned. Bed was comfortable and TV worked well.

Clean but shabby

Was looking for a quick easy place to sleep and that it was. Room was clean but shabby & small. Thought the price was awfully high for what they had to offer...!

Complete ripoff.

Our room smelled like mold. There was no wireless Internet even though it was advertised. I would've gladly paid the extra 20 bucks to stay at AmericInn if I knew what condition this place was in.

This place is a dive... worst customer service ever!

To start, this place lost my reservation. Fortunately, I had printed out my confirmation letter. They did not have the room we had reserved anymore, so my 17 year old son had to share a king bed with his mom. Not what we had hoped for. No apologies for the mix-up given, either. Room was dirty, whole place was not kept up, found a small centipede crawling in the bathroom! Was so tired, I didn't go with my instinct and leave. Shower had a cement floor! When I went to check out in the morning, the clerk said they were charging us extra (!) because we had two people and the website price I had been charged was "wrong". I told him the website said there was no additional charge for children 0-17, but he said it was only for 0-13. I could not believe he would not honor the website price!!! Said he didn't mknow anything about that and I would have to talk to the owner in two days! He charged extra to my credit card without my permission! Unbelievable. I will fight this. This place gives "Mom and Pop" motels a bad name.
