« Friendly welcome. Was in room 101 with a partial sea view. Bed is comfy. The ceiling is not well soundproof, so you might choose an upper floor room if you want tranquility. There is a shared terrace in front of the room and a swimming pool that I haven’t tried. »

« The lady at the reception was really kind and gave us quite a few good tips for dinner. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a little walk down to the private shore which is really beautiful. The only con here is about breakfast: first, the previous hosts' breakfast had been left on our terrace; second, our own breakfast was quite limited, we would have liked to have a choice. »

« We checked in for a two-night stay in Lincolnville on our way back down to NYC from Bar Harbor, and it was the ultimate place to catch our breath. While we were recovering from Acadia, the kids instantly bypassed their screens to become full-time vinyl DJs on the in-room record player, when they weren't busy exploring the gorgeous grounds. The owner, Alice, has completely nailed that elusive "welcoming-but-supremely-laid-back" coastal vibe. The motel is conveniently situated just two minutes...
