« Host is very accommodating, giving us a dozen eggs for our breakfast. Letting us use the ATV was a plus. All the beddings and linens are clean. The house is a bit old but all the washrooms are renovated. »

« My wife, our dog and I had an excellent stay at the Checkerboard guest house in Cobourg. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and as advertised, and was only about 2km from downtown. Our host, Tish, was easily available and responsive to our requests. We needed a pet friendly place, and this fit the bill perfectly! »

« Because there was a storm and a tree fell in the I e bedroom cottage we were in the large cottage. It was beautiful property, I was thankful I wasn’t I. The smaller one. The only thing is the left over or provided stuff in the kitchen cupboards were mostly expired and should be purged. I felt two pods of coffee was not enough for 2 night’s and three days. I had to go buy more coffee. I also accepted the larger cottage to not have to find other accommodations with no hot water. I think I should...
