We had a great stay at Katy's farm! We arrived on Saturday and spent the night, with Katy showing us the property and animals on Sunday morning. The cabin was really nice and clean, and despite it being the coldest day of the season (so far), the space heater and blankets were more than adequate to keep us comfortable. We came to show our 3 year old some animals and do something totally new for her, since we're city dwellers. The tour was fun and informative; we loved the turkeys that followed us around and laughed every time Katy did. She was very knowledgeable about the animals, and told us about each of the animals' backgrounds, as well as the process of learning how to take care of a small farm. It was very casual, which we appreciated throughout our stay because we were there to unplug for a day.
