« I was a completely unplanned visitor who trekked the moors at night to reach the Inn. Though the only thing that happened on the moors was fulfilling an American's silly Holmesian fantasy of walking the moors at night, everyone was concerned for my safety and I really appreciated that. My stay was wonderful, the food was really delicious, and everyone with whom I spoke was just up-front and pleasant. I will be back some day and guess where I'll stay? »

« La jeune femme qui nous a servi nous a consacré beaucoup de temps pour indiquer ce qu'il y avait à faire dans la région. Le bùtiment est trÚs ancien et a beaucoup de charme. TrÚs propre. C'était vraiment trÚs agréable de séjourner dans cet hÎtel. Dommage que nous ne sommes restés qu'une nuit. Thank you for this great stay. »

« This hotel/inn is probably one of the nicest in the world and stands above all others that we visited on our 12 day road trip through Scotland and England in August 2019.
