Property is very clean, has the basics and communication with the owner was super easy. The saloon-style doors for the downstairs bathroom were a little unexpected, but we made it work. We enjoyed our stay and would recommended this property for a long weekend.“

„We ladies had a great couple of days in wine country. It was so nice for all four of us to have our own bed. The house is roomy and was very clean with all the amenities needed. We would recommend it! Be aware, it is closer to the road than we expected, but there was no traffic noise. Also, there are no shades on the main floor windows. Nice location. Close to the wine trail and Carbondale, even a Dollar General. Great stay!“

„I would recommend this home for anyone coming to the area. Great place to stay. Everything you need for a couple days or longer. Close to everything, very quiet neighborhood. Couldn't figure out how to lock the front door when leaving and had to call for help. Return call was very quick. There's a trick to locking the door. Must be one for the dishwasher too because I was unable to get it started when we left. Would definitely stay again if we had a group. Loved the color themes in the bedrooms.“

„This was a return trip for friends of 40+ years. Everything was the exact same: bright, clean, and airy. The kitchen has anything you could need to cook a meal (we made two dinners, the second bbq-ing steaks on the grill). The bathrooms are well-stocked and clean. We love this place. So serene. Hope to return in one year, God willing.“

„Host had the cabin very clean. New leather couch & recliner. Mattress was extremely comfortable. Washer & Dryer were excellent. Another Rental house near, long-term renters were very quiet. Internet not very good in the Illinois woods. Closed cabin has a musty smell from humidity in the woods. Host had an automatic air freshener going to help with air quality.“
