The property was very cute. Especially the patio. Although we didn't use the amenities there such as the fire pit and the hammocks, it pretty much had everything we needed for a somewhat rustic weekend. I did like that the code to the door was just texted to us so we didn't have to really check in at any given time. Which allowed us to stay at the campground with our friends before heading over to the tree house for the night. The bathroom was also really cute. One recommendation, please put a sign on the road that points in towards the tree houses. When we came home at night it was very hard to locate it without something to direct us. Especially because we did not have cell reception except for when we were logged into the wi-fi at the treehouse.
The cabin was nice and homey! Bathrooms were clean. The location was perfect, not too far from the city and nearby a state park for outdoor activities. Recommend for small groups of 2-4.
Found the location short notice to make a trip to White Water state park. Was hesitant about the size of the space from online picktures. After arriving the space was just right.
We loved this place! It is quaint, welcoming and in a very natural setting. While here we vosited Whitewater. We stayed in Cabin 3 but hiked up the hill to the tent sites which has an amazing view of the bluffs!
Stayed in one of the treehouse cabins with my friend and my dog for a couple of nights over the 4th of July and had a wonderful experience! Really felt like glamping, but with a little extra infrastructure!
Chelsi was a very helpful and responsive host. The space was tidy and well taken care of and just as described. The beds and blankets were comfortable, the bathhouse was close by and very clean and modern. It was so peaceful and the area is gorgeous. We loved eating breakfast on the covered porch looking into the pines, and hiking up the bluff on the property to the stargazing field.
Also you can't beat the location- it truly is just minutes from Elba and Whitewater State Park!
The only thing I would do differently next time is pack a little lantern or lamp for a more low key/ non-overheard lighting option in the evening, but I'm only including this in case it's helpful for anyone else who finds themselves very particular about lighting at night haha. If it wasn't so wet we would have loved to enjoy the fire pits instead!
I would absolutely book again, and am curious to try out their glamping sites up on the bluff- maybe in the fall!
We stayed for a weekend with two adults, one toddler, and a dog. The treehouse cabin was perfect for what we needed. It was clean, well-laid out, and easy to get to. We had rain most of the weekend so we didn't make any fires, but the porch was perfect to sit on and watch the rain. The bathrooms were better than expected - very clean, spacious, and the shower had hot water. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful when we needed them.
