"My stay at JR Kyushu Hotel Nagasaki was the perfect beginning to a seamless vacation in Japan. The hotel is ideally located right next to the brand-new Nagasaki Station, which is not only beautiful and modern but also connected to a stylish shopping mall with a rooftop Starbucks—a great spot to unwind or take in city views. Getting from the airport was easy: the airport limousine bus drops you off right at the station, just steps from the hotel entrance. The hotel itself is efficient and welcoming, with glass elevators adding a sleek architectural touch. One of my favorite parts was the bar and restaurant next door in the Marriott, which was perfect for a relaxed drink or dinner without having to venture far. Starting my journey in a smaller, calmer city like Nagasaki was a great choice—it helped me ease into the pace of Japan without feeling overwhelmed. The JR Pass was easy to pick up here, too—the ticket office is smaller and quieter compared to the large and often crowded stations in Tokyo or Osaka. Overall, a delightful and stress-free start to my trip. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate comfort, convenience, and a softer landing into Japan."

"Das Hotel ist praktischerweise direkt gegenüber von Nagasaki Station gelegen. Viele der Sehenswürdigkeiten konnte ich von dort aus innerhalb von 20 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Vor dem Hotel sind auch noch zwei Straßenbahnstationen und ein Busbahnhof. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Personal war sehr nett. Klare Empfehlung meinerseits!"
