„We hired the bunkhouse for two nights of birthday celebrations and walking. Great location with stunning walks right outside the door. Wainwright’s Inn is a few steps away, as is the co-op with its little cafe upstairs. I hope to make our stay an annual event. Highly recommended!“

„We have just had a great holiday in the lakes. The house was in a brilliant location just a couple of minutes into the centre but far enough away to be peaceful.There was everything we needed in the house and it was clean throughout. The pool next door is a huge plus and the view is absolutely stunning.If I had to make any criticism it would be that the blinds need some attention but it didn't impede our stay at all.Thank you for hosting us “

„Booked this via VRBO and was forwarded to Hereward Cottages. Upon booking we were under the impression we had 4 bedrooms to use as we pleased - however, we were told (pretty rudely via email) the 4th bedroom was only suitable for children (even though the beds would have easily held a fully grown adult on the bottom bunk). "Mitten im Ort gelegen, aber dennoch ruhig. Mit dem kostenlosen Parkplatz hinter dem Hotel hat es auch jeden Abend geklappt, kann aber schon voll werden. Es gibt aber wohl auch noch einen zweiten Parkplatz, den wir aber nicht gebraucht haben. Meiner Frau hat der Pool super gefallen, gepflegt, sauber und ansprechend gestaltet. Der Whirlpool hat uns beiden sehr gut gefallen. FrĂŒhstĂŒck war sehr gut, das Abendessen im Hotel hatten wir nur einmal genossen. War jetzt nicht schlecht, aber irgendwie fehlte der Pfiff, da sind wir lieber im Ort Essen gegangen und im Zweifelsfalle geht Fish & Chips halt immer. Sehr schönes Zimmer mit uriger Einrichtung, fehlt eigentlich nur noch Sherlock Holmes der einmal vorbeischaut. Wenn es draußen warm wird, dann kann es auch im Zimmer super warm/heiß werden. Dadurch das wir ein Zimmer mit Balkon hatten, konnten wir aber gut durchlĂŒften und so das Zimmer zum Schlafen auf ertrĂ€gliche Temperaturen bekommen."
